Cool.

Someone recommended this movie to me a while ago. I finally rented it the other night. It's good. I didn't think it was scary. It's like... "dull horror". The acting was good. I really enjoyed watching it. My mom liked it too but we both hated the ending but it's still worth watching. I'm quite pleased with it! I'm thinking about renting the other two that follow this one.. but I'd like opinions. Are they worth the rentals? I'd give it a 4 out of 5. I would have liked the ending to be better for it to receive higher.

Ask any questions if you haven't already seen it. :) I'd be happy to answer them.

I'm a little puzzled that you don't like the ending and consider it dull, yet give it four stars?

Personally, I loved the movie. Top-notch in a horror sub-genre, namely that of the werewolf, that is usually relegated to ugly dudes barking at the moon. Also, Katharine Isabelle in full transformation is a goddess to behold.

The first sequel, Ginger Snaps Back, is possibly even superior to this one. Emily Perkins really steps into the role. See the third, whatever the hell it was called, if you must. It is a prequel, set in frontier times, and is tedious at best.

I said "dull horror". I don't consider it a true horror film. I like werewolves but I prefer the one in An American Werewolf in Paris. :)

I think I've seen GS: Back. If I remember correctly. It's the one with the Native Americans?

No, that's the third one.
