Movie Review by Lisa
November 28th, 2007

I would just like to thank all the writers who are currently striking, because of which I got to watch one of my fave festive flicks, instead of the usually prime time wankfest that normally infests cable TV.

Although Nick Cage's recent flick have kinda been the boil on the ass of his acting career (IMO) I still heart him lots.

The movie opens with our man Jack Campbell (Nick) leaving his girlfriend Kate (Téa) to further his career in London. Ok now flash for 10 years or so, and we see Jack has evolved into high rolling Wall Street shark, who has little regard for anything other than his job and making money. Jack loves his life but on Christmas Eve he makes the mistake of talking a thug (Cheadle) out of shooting a mini mart clerk, to further his mistake he proceeds to lecture Cheadle on how he should make something of himself.

Well it turns out our thug is really an angel and he decides to teach this ponsie tw*t Jack a little lesson... Christmas morning Jack wake up in an unfamiliar bed next to his old college girlfriend, surrounded by screaming kids. Jack is forced to live in this alternative life that eventually changes his view of the world, and just as soon as he finds this out he is zapped back into the cold sterility of his old life.

This movie is a great holiday flick Téa is stunning Nick is perfect, Mackenzie Vega is uber cute, and the cherry on top is Jeremy Piven (oh how I love him) he can do no wrong.
