Erin Brockovich (2000)

Roberts' best.
Steven Soderbergh is able to pull of the best performance of Julia Roberts' largely over-rated career.
She stars in the true story of a woman fighting for the rights of a group of small town people who are being poisoned by chemical waste disposed of illegally by a huge corporation.
Julia Roberts plays Erin as a mother who will do anything for her kids and as a woman who refuses to compromise who she is so that she might fit in better with suits.
Albert Finney is great as her boss and Aaron Eckhart is grizzly-sexy as her boyfriend.
A good film with a serious message.
