Movie Review by Becca
April 13th, 2008

normally, as a rule, i dont like vampire movies. i never got into the genre. but i really like this movie. it has a wonderful cast, and a different approach than most movies of a similar genre. plus, it has an interesting script, with some really good lines (NIGHTSHADE: "I'm sorry man, I don't seem to know whats got into me.... (after he gets shot) I said i was sorry..." or Simon: "Don't f*** with an antiques seller!") Gerard Butler was a great dracula. he had a role that didn't require many lines, but it required intense looks and Gerard Butler really delved deep and brought dracula to a whole new level not seen before. i highly recommend this movie to anybody, especially those who are not vampire-freaks; its not a typical vampire thriller. you are in for a pleasant surprise.
