Hot chicks serving liquor... it can happen
I have a couple of female friends who are bartenders and they are good looking girls. Tougher than the women of this movie and covered with tattoos, but still hot chicks. However, I also know that they consider this movie to be one of the most unrealistic pieces of garbage made.
If the movie had decided to focus simply on the bar and what the women go through this might have been half-way interesting. Instead they decide to deviate and focus on the supposed song writing career of one of the hapless girls and the romance that she ends up having with one of the customers.
YAWN.
Again, the best thing about this movie is Mario Bello. Cast as the hard nosed owner of the bar, she maintains an air of toughness even in the face of seeing all the other tough girls around her crumble into soft hearted fool. I will even say that Bridget Moynahan is somewhat interesting as well, but for the most part this was a movie that couldn't remain true to its guilty pleasure aspirations and instead thought it would try to make a go of it.
Next time, make the script stronger than the drinks, fellas.

| Yeah, Maria! This was a good performance as the tough bar owner. I can't get enough of her, especially in hot black leather. |

Yeah, the plot spoiled the eye candy.
What I liked about it was that back in the day, *sheepish grin,* line dancing was cool. It was nice to see it done right again. |
