Movie Review by Cheerleader Dan
February 27th, 2008

Mainstream Cheer Flick, Dangerous Territory

Favorite Movie Quote: "Bring it On"

Although I mostly prefer the underground cheer scene, this movie does a fair job of encompassing the enthusiasm and dedication that "Swinging Cheerleaders" first established in 1974. Though Kirsten Dunst is no Colleen Camp, I was happy to see the movie-going public embrace the only true art form.
I cheer becasue I care, but I review movies because I also care. Therefore it is my solemn duty to let everyone reading this with the most remote interest in good cinemontographyism to check out some of the more classic works such as "Stan's Cheerleaders," "Swinging Cheerleaders" and "Happy Cheering" (Based on Kerosawa Akinowa's film, roughly translated as "Chanting Chanting Chanting!").
However, this film is a good springboard to adjust to the hot, hot waters of the American cheer movie scene.
Happy Hunting!
