Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie
March 12th, 2007

The Perfect Script

In film school we studied this script because it is the most perfectly constructed, arguably, in film history.

I saw this film 3 times in the theatre. Each time I took more away from it, this is M. Night Shyamalan's undisputed masterpiece.

It is a story about dealing with the loss of love, learning to move on, growing up different, and death.

Bruce Willis is at his best as a man helping a child (Haley Joel Osment) who sees dead people. Toni Collette is plastic-nailed perfection in an intense and dark role.

I love very few movies this much and very few make me cry as much.

We will be remembered for this film as other generations have been remembered for 'Gone With The Wind', 'Lawrence of Arabia', 'The Sound of Music', and 'E.T.'. This is one for the record books.
