Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie
March 26th, 2007

Glad I'm Not Michael Bolton

If you haven't worked in an office, you might not get the real appeal of this cult classic. But if you have...ah, friend, welcome home.

Like Ricky Gervais' genius TV show 'The Office' this movie is a diatribe against the dull depravity of working in such a place. Unlike the TV show this movie turns into a haphazard satire and turns the office into the target of hate rather than laughs.

One of the funniest scenes in this movie is when David Herman's character is rapping along to a hardcore rap song as he commutes, but he turns down the volume and locks his door when he sees a black man walk by.

That scene shows the kind of people we are forced to follow, these weak-willed wannabe cool guys who just can't get up the nerve to make a change...until they do.

This is a f*cking hilarious classic movie that needs to be seen at least once.
