Movie Review by Movie Addict
May 16th, 2008

The house is alive. We're all gonna die.

Favorite Movie Quote: "Jesus, she's dead. She was cute too. God, I'd love to get laid before I die."

I only have one complaint about this movie - it took over 45 minutes before anything interesting happened! Why in the world did they take so long to set this up? I mean they really didn't give any clue as to what was happening in that 45 minutes. It wasn't until Taye Diggs found the picture that you could guess the house was going to trump Mrs. Price (Famke Janssen) and Dr. Blackburn (Peter Gallagher).

When things did get rolling, the special effects were marvelous and there was a little titillation, but the long setup just bored me to death.

Diggs was good and so was Geoffrey Rush, but it was the special effects that made this all worthwhile.
