the green mile

when this movie came out, it was by far the best movie of the year. i'd give it 10 stars if possible. it was sad, it had its funny moments and it was dramatic as well. i had never seen a movie this well played out. tom hanks was awesome in his roll as paul edgecomb who ran death row at the prison. he treated the prisoners as people with respect even though they were on death row for murder or whatever the case. he was a dignified gentleman in this movie. "john coffey" played by michael duncan was an excellen character as well. he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. "john" had a special gift in which all of the prison will find out . he was a gentle man and made this movie a tear jerker. i loved it and have watched it over and over again and it is great each time i watch it. watch this film and you'll see what i mean.
