Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie
March 10th, 2007

Squandered Cast

Nowhere near as good as 'Sleepless in Seattle', this remake of 1949's 'In The Good Old Summertime' (a pretty lame movie to begin with) is lame and tame.

Meg Ryan owns a small bookstore, Tom Hanks owns a large chain of bookstores, they meet over the net and everything turns out happy and sappy.

Dopey and lame.

I hate to say that I have watched this movie way more than I should....this is one of my "I'm bumed out and feeling sorry for myself flicks" which is usually accompanied by a large tub of Ben & Jerry's.
