What happens if Jerry gets mad?

Wow, can not believe that this film does not already have at least one review. I love this film.....I think it is SOOOOOOO underrated. First off the cast is just brilliant......the casting director should have won an award.......the story is really unique as well...It involves time travel, science and terror!

So a ship (as in a spacecraft) is found underwater, and it is believed to be an alien vessel. A team of the finest scientists and doctors around the planet is assembled to investigate the ship underwater thousands of feet of water. They live in an underwater habitat that the United States Navy has setup.

The weird thing is first that the ship has 300 years of coral growth around it , second they find a perfect sphere mysterious object inside of the ship and most importantly the ship starts interacting and talking to the team which turns out to be not so cool for them.

I will tell you that this is one of Dustin Hoffman's and Peter Coyote's best characters ever. Sam Jackson and Sharon Stone as also freaking awesome in this. The story keeps you at the edge of your seat and even now that I know the twisting ending I can still watch this film over and over and it still keeps me 100% entertained.

I would classify this as a sci-fi / thriller with a small pinch of horror elements. If you never have seen this then I would recommend it immediately.

" You see? It's curious. Ted did figure it out - time travel. And when we get back, we gonna tell everyone. How it's possible, how it's done, what the dangers are. But then why fifty years in the future when the spacecraft encounters a black hole does the computer call it an 'unknown entry event'? Why don't they know? If they don't know, that means we never told anyone. And if we never told anyone it means we never made it back. Hence we die down here. Just as a matter of deductive logic. "

God how I loved this book. The movie, not so much. It's still good, and I watch it whenever it's on TV or something, but the book is so much better. :)

whats the matter....the power of forgetting is not good enough for you.....haha.....yeah i'll agree the ending was the weakest point.......however I have tried to think of a better one which would explain why no one knew about the incident in the future and its not any easy concept.
