Movie Review by Zara

Could have been a lot better

There are some really good people in this movie. Actors and actresses who have done stuff that has blown them off the map, from the veterans to the newer actors. However, while I liked this movie, it really dropped the ball on the possibilities that it could have run with.

Not that I'm full of ideas. Hell, the movie is jam-packed full of things to begin with. The basic principal behind everything is love, how we get it, how we lose it, how we keep from banging our head against a brick wall because of it. There are couples from Sean Connery and Gena Rowlands who are supposed to have their 40th wedding anniversary and come to grips with his possible infidelity from 25 years back.

Most people are going to want to see this because a young Angelina is in it and I will say that I don't think she's looked hotter. Young, red hair and a fuller body. Can't really ask for more. And she's really good in it as well, falling in love with Ryan Phillippe who also happens to be good, even if his story arc is a little difficult to believe.

I don't really know how else to describe this movie other than it's not bad but it could've been so much better.
