An Amazing Film Which Changed Films Forever
The Matrix is a film in which was considered a landmark in the movie world. The film was mostly noticed for the amazing fight scenes, special effects and a story in which was never seen before. In my eyes, The Matrix is a great movie. It really gives you a mind trip into an unknown world of the future. The Wachowski Brothers made a movie in which I believe changed the face of movies forever. Add in a great plot, great acting, cool and freaky characters, and action scenes which blow your mind, and you get The Matrix.
The movie focuses on computer hacker Neo (Keanu Reeves). When hes visited by Trinity (Carrie Ann Moss) he learns his dreams are coming true. After a visit from Mr.Smith (Hugo Weaving), he is injected with a creature of sometime. After it is taken out, he meets Morpheus (Laurence Fishbourne). As he is to choose between two pills, red and blue, he enters the Matrix world. Where he must fight for his survival.
The thing thats great about this movie is the amazing fight scenes and eye blowing special effects for the time. My personal favorite action scene was the bank attack which to me was awesome. Even though the film depends more on character and the plot then it does the effects, theyre still great.
Bottom Line: A classic

| You know I love the Matrix trilogy......and think that it is ground breaking....but I love how everyone has forgotten about the first Mortal Kombat film which really was the first film to take the next step in digital fighting. I'm not saying by NO means that Mortal Kombat is better but I will say that it was the pioneer. |
