Movie Review by Zara

Depressing

A movie about a woman who goes on a talk show thinking that she's going to get a makeover and instead is confronted by her best friend admitting that she's been sleeping with her husband? Well, that certainly doesn't sound like anything that I'd be avoiding on day time TV!

This movie seemed to only be made to showcase how cutesy America had grown fond of referring to Sandra Bullock as. In fact, at the top of this movie profile right now, the description from amazon.com starts off by referring to Bullock as being "cute as a button." Well, gee. That alone should sell a movie, right?

Harry Connick Jr isn't an actor. He's not even good looking but for some reason there is a small fraction of women in the states who deem him so. I just think he's a lucky bastard for getting Jill Goodacre to marry him and knocking her up and creating half breed pretty/ugly kids.

Oh, the movie, that's right...

The little girl who plays Bullock's daughter is screechy and annoying throughout the entire film, but I must admit that as a mother I was crushed to see her heart broken by her cruel "dad." That alone wrecked me. Been there, done that.

Still, it's not a movie that is worth watching for either a lesson learned or for a romance or for a comedy. Unless you just like watching movies to remark on how cute Bullock is, stay away.
