Forces of Nature

Some of the guys will probably laugh that I picked this movie to review. It is definitely a chick flick but I found it pretty entertaining and actually have watched it a view times on HBO.
Ben Affleck plays Ben, a man on his way to Georgia to get married to the woman that he thinks he is in love with. He boards an airplane which crashes on the runway before take-off. Sarah played by Sandra Bullock is a passenger on the plane sitting right next to him. She is on her way to Georgia to sell her Bagel shop and then take the $25,000 she is getting for the business to her son that she has not seen in years. She finds transportation by car and invites Ben to go with her. Just about everything that can go wrong does, Sarah's wallet is stolen, Ben is out of cash, and the man they hitched a ride with gets them locked up for drugs.
Ben starts to fall for Sarah and really starts to have second thoughts about the wedding during this whole ordeal. Sarah is very beautiful, infatuating, and lovable. It would be hard for any man not to like her in a romantic way. So its a battle of the mind and heart for Ben to the bitter end.
For you guys if you need to find a movie for you and your girl to watch this is something that should be easy to get through and you might actually enjoy it. It features some comical scenes and Sandra is stunning as always. For the woman I think this goes in the book as one of those movies that make you feel so good after watching it. It is a truly romantic love story. I am not normally a Ben Affleck fan but his acting was very believable and he makes you like and feel sympathy for his character.

This was actually a pretty decent movie. Or, well, at least I liked it. I love the fact that most of the sun, moon rain, wind and so on was mostly digital effects.

LOL.... don't worry. I can fix that.

Nah, you're not too far off. It's more like a 2 star but it's also one of those movies that really isn't worth dedicating too much energy on. Something you watch and forget, otherwise known as a cable & insomnia flick.

It's only redeeming factor is Steve Zhan. He can save any flick from being a 1 star affair.
