Gilliam Meets Gonzo

How do you make a Hunter S. Thompson book into a movie?

It is a challenge that I think few directors other than Terry Gilliam would even try to tackle, but he goes for it, head on.

Plot? Incomprehensibly wonderul and Thompson-esque.

From reading Thompson, this movie really does capture his wild spirit and Johnny Depp has his personality dead on.

This is a great movie for those of us who either love Thompson or those who love Gilliam...for those who love both...enjoy!
