Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie
March 9th, 2007

The 90's made Teen Movies Too!

I tried to not like this movie, I thought that great teen flicks had gone the way of John Hughes and the 1980's and this one had the dispicable Jennifer Love Hewitt, but I can't help it...it is freakin' funny.
Mocking everything about highschool movies in a very 1990's post-ironic 'Scream' kinda way, we have the white boy trying to be a playa (Seth Green), the cool quiet shy hot dude (Ethan Embry), the teen queen who just wants someone to see the real her (Hewitt), the ironic b*tchy best friend (Lauren Ambrose), the jock who thinks college is gonna be even better than high school (Peter Facinelli) and the Geek extrordinaire (Charlie Korsmo).
This is a hilarious movie from start to finish, Embry is one of the sexiest men on screen these days (but he is not on screen enough!) and Seth Green is unforgettable.
Great stuff.
