One Of The Funniest Movies Ever Made

Joel & Ethan Coen have written many excellent films, in this case, they have created a comedic masterpiece.

The Big Lebowski is not a simple comedy for simple minds, so don't expect humor like American Pie or Scary Movie...here the humor it's all verbal, in the way the characters speak, the way they relate to each other, the subtleties.

Jeff Bridges stars as The Dude, so that's what you call him, now, The Dude, he is certainly one of cinema's most intriguing characters, he wears his pajamas all day, is unemployed and uses lots of drugs to keep his mind limber.

John Goodman co-stars as Walter Sobchak, personally my favorite character in the film and one of my favorite characters ever created. Walter's a Vietnam veteran obsessed with Vietnam, this is another amazing character to watch with a natural display of subtle comedy.

Julianne Moore, Steve Buscemi, John Turturro and Philip Seymour Hoffman also co-star with equally great roles, so, definitely The Big Lebowski is one of the finest achievements by the Coen bros. and one hell of an achievement for comedies and movies in general.

It's one of the most quotable movies, too. Great review!
