Movie Review by Zara
March 14th, 2007

Great soundtrack... although not top 20 for me

This was the first time that Sandler and Barrymore were teamed up together and it was the time that it was proven how well they mesh. Both are sweet natured goof balls who work hard at their craft and receive little recognition for the solid and consistent work that they turn in. Of course they'd be great together.

I have to chime in on the whole child of the '80's thing again and mention how much I love the music and the takes on the fashions and hairstyles. I think this is one of those things that helped to sell the general population to the movie. Released during the time when people were still nostalgic for those times.

I've heard that comedian Stephen Lynch was cast in the lead role of Robbie in the stage version of this movie. I'd love to check that out at some point.

Great chemistry, cool music, good cast and a cameo by Billy Idol. Do I really need to go on?
