Movie Review by Zara
March 14th, 2007

Hmmm...

I saw this movie and I don't remember there being anything spectacular about it other than the fact that it was made when Rose McGowan was a cult goddess in my eyes. That woman sincerely was one of the hottest chicks around when she was young and first burst onto the scene.

I once read an interview with Ben Affleck before he got huge and he said this was his least favorite film to work on because every time that he would tell someone that he was in it they would ask what it was like to work with Rose and if he would help them get her autograph and picture.

Awe. Poor Ben.

I tend to think that Dean Koontz's books are pompous and bloated in their text and that he benefits well when with works are simplified for the screen. But I always recommend that people check out books first. So get to it!

I hated this movie. But then again, I hate Koontz's writing as well. *shrug*

There were some decent squishy bits, Rose is always a treat, and Liev Schreiber never gets enough credit, but who the hell believed Affleck as the sheriff? I mean, c'mon.
