Movie Review by F A B

When did it become a trip??

This flick is the definition of what it is to keep the audience guessing.I've always been a fan of the Douglas clan and Sean Penn is critically acclaimed.Naturally a movie straing them would be a pleaser. And sure enough it is,the way the story plot twists and turns you almost get the feeling you're on a rollercoaster...and you dont want the ride to end fast.It isnt the best flick nor the most polished and smooth but the overrall point is held throughout.A guy who needs to have a hold of the reigns is suddenly tossed into the backseat as his life goes off on a crazy adventure to unravel a mystery. What he ends up finding in the end is more than what he ever expected. This one has a pretty tidy ending and all n all presents a pretty good watch.I give it an average rating for end results but and excellent rating for plot creativity....and an underlying moral that makes sense. If you got some free time...thought about watching this one.Go ahead it's not trashy.

I must admit, normally I can't stand Douglas. This movie was a good time to not like him all that much, because I was able to delight in all the sh*t that he gets put through. Plus... Sean Penn. There isn't a performance that Penn's given that hasn't been worth nothing.
