Better Than Most Action Flicks

Action flicks are simple, right? A hero, some villains, lots of guns and lots of ridiculous explosions that build up to a happy ending. Well, Con Air is pretty much that, only that it's way better than it sounds.

It's better than most action flicks around because the characters are great, the story is not an excuse for action sequences and the non-action parts are just as important, that's a good sign.

Con Air is a wild ride, everything that an action movie should be, it also has some of the best and most interesting characters around, especially John Malkovich as Cyrus The Virus, one of the greatest villains in film history and Steve Buscemi as Garland Greene, a character that needs to be watched, not explained.

Overall, excellent film, it doesn't diappoint and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
