ELECT FORD FOR PRESIDENT

The President of the United States is the honored spot in the world and some people don't like him. With the Secret Service protecting him, he shouldn't have much problems, but when push comes to shove, he will have to protect himself. In this action-packed thriller from director Wolfgang Peter, Harrison Ford stars as President James Marshall who has just the told the world that he will not negotiate with terrorists nor with any terrorist government. But when a group of neo-nationalists, who want the U.S. to release a facsist who the U.S. captured a few weeks earlier, hijack Air Force One, Marshall has a chance to take the terrorists into his own hands. Supporting Ford is Gary Oldman as the neo-nationalists leader, Glenn Close as Vice President Bennett, and Wendy Crewson as Marshall's wife Grace. Also you will see William H. Macy and Dean Stockwell. This thriller has a lot of great acting and blooding action. The only problem I had with the film, unless it's my T.V., is the sound. Sometimes I can't hear the dialogue and then when it comes to gun blazing, the sound goes really high, or maybe it's because the actors are soft spoken, like Harrison Ford, as soft spoken as he is sometimes, sometimes I can't even hear what he is saying. But other than that, it is a great film to watch, so don't miss it.
