Just as Good as The Original
The Lost World is the sequel to Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. In this sequel, Steven gets behind the camera again to show us how good of a director he really is. He hasnt lost his flair, but instead gives us more action, better effects and shows us the first persom to be torn in half in a movie.
The film picks up four years after the disaster at Jurassic Park. On a nearby island, dinosaurs have secretly survived and been allowed to roam free but now there is a more ominous threat--a plan to capture and bring the dinosaurs to the mainland. John Hammond, who has lost control of his InGen company, sees a chance to redeem himself for his past mistakes and sends an expedition led by Ian Malcolm to reach the island before the mercenary team gets there. The two groups confront each other in the face of extreme danger and must team up for their own survival in a race against time.
Jeff Goldblum is our lead actor this time around. He is a magnificent actor that really proves himself this time around. Julianne Moore puts on a star performance in the fil as well. Being the smart one about all the dinosaurs they are facing.
This movie is a slam bang, nonstop action sci-fi thriller. It is literally amazing to watch and unforgettable.
