one of my all time favorites
This movie is one that still makes my heart all a flutter when I think about it. It is a visual wet dream for anybody who can enjoy a movie just for the way that a film can be shot.
Though loosely based around a factual character and events...(I say loosely because in real life the key character was gay and was working with the Nazis)..I thought it briliant from start to finish.
Attention to period details, beautiful country side, amazing actors, a little adventure, some romance, amazing score...I could go on. This movie is worth the watch. Has a little something for everyone.
And my favorite all time scene is in this movie..I mean FAVORITE..when Naveen Andrews, who plays Kip, unwinds his turban and lets his hair cascade down while showering...breathtaking.

| Bah. One of the movies that never hooked me and ended up just boring the crap out of me. But hey! It won Oscars! |
