The Non-Descript Baldwin

Angela Jones has to be the cutest little Hispanic looking chick with the whitest name that I have ever seen. She GLOWS in this film. Yes, a cap-locked GLOWS. Her wide eyed stare and sweet tone of voice are perfect for this oddball movie.

For those of you who need bigger star power when you watch a movie and just aren't satisfied with seeing Billy Baldwin as a serial killer or Daisy Fuentes painfully choking her way through the minimal lines that she was blessed with, it's fun to note that Kelly Preston makes an appearance as the same news reporter that she played in the movie FROM DUSK TIL DAWN. (If you're a QT fan, check the movie out just for that.)

Yes, Quentin is an executive producer on this, a title that pretty much means that they were hoping to gain a little more attention for a small, quirky, tightly directed film. They didn't, of course. Instead the attention of his name went to funding crap like HOSTEL.

This is a great little gem with no point and no purpose to it. It's light weight fun poking at a serious subject. Great for a random afternoon when you're wondering "What the hell should I watch?"

You forgot to mention that Angela Jones was Bruce Willis's cab driver in Pulp Fiction (QT put her in because he liked her in Curdled, Jr.)

It seems QT befriended these guys when this film's precursor short aired at Sundance, which itself was based on their film school graduation thesis thingie (whatever they call it). QT urged them to make it a full length feature. So now the graduation project is called Baby Curdled, the short feature is Curdled, Jr., and then (obviously) there is Curdled. And what do we learn from this? We learn that I read too much Fangoria :)

In all seriousness, I like this one. A LOT.

Do I really NEED to mention everything?

Actually, after watching this I imdb'ed Jones because she looked familiar to me (I do that, especially when my mind is mushy like it still is) and figured out the PF thing, but I didn't know the rest of this.

Cool stuff.

Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed this as well. I watched it with Midget and even she was into it. Being that it's not overtly violent and just has a lot of fake blood and some quirky themes, she thought it was rather funny. Go figure.
