Movie Review by haley
July 15th, 2007

So that's what being a parent is like....

I found it hard to be very spooked out by small bossy children who can manipulate you against your will... afterall... i am a mother... i am used to it... and at least my son doesn't wear a really bad white wig.

I thought this movie was entertaining nonetheless, and I thought Christopher Reeve did a partucilarly interesting job playing the single father after his daughter psychically forced his wife (her mother) to jump of the cliff conveniently located in their backyard.

Kirstie Alley, unfortunately did not do a very convincing job. Not for one moment did I actually buy her delivery of her lines... she just isnt't the disinterested scientist type...

Definitely the best parts of the movie were the first thirty minutes, setting up the children's arrival with the town-wide blackout and their births... and some of the earlier scenes with the kids were cool too... but now that i've seen it.... once is enough...

And why, oh why, did Mr. Reeve continue to go to teach the little aliens? Why did only 8 of the women get pregnant? I will ponder these deep questions the next time my son is attempting to convincee to give him ice cream for dinner...

first of all, how can you review a movie after watching the edited version on TV?

secondly, it was the children's natural hair and they weren't aliens...i thought it was fairly obvious that this was just the story of how 8 women were raped by an albino during a black out...

overall you did a fairly competent review...actually i'm just upset that your review is better than mine :(
