Movie Review by Richard

Sinfully Good

Seven. For the longest time I knew the movie existed but for the life of me I could not remember who was in it, what it was about or better yet, why bother to watch it? Until I did and now resides with my Blockbusteresque movie collection.

The Storyline itself brings one in to watch, but to me the performances make those want to stay. On one corner we have the much loved and admired eye-candy Brad Pitt, on the other we have the reserved Morgan freeman; Two who I thought of as a very odd duo although I've seen worse...

Here we have detective lt. William Somerset (freeman) who is nearing his retirement and Detective David Mills (pitt) a reputable cop who's moved to the highly acclaimed Homicide line of work. After a bit of some brash from each other they eventually work in harmony as they go at all costs to track down a very original "john doe" who recreates in a graphic manner the Seven Deadly Sins. (Those with Weak stomachs fast forward is your new best friend)

*Spoiler Warning*
As The Movie thickens one tends to wonder how exactly the seven deadly sins are expected to be portrayed, all wonderment is ceased once all sins are revealed which at the end will (in my opinion) show one of Brad pitt's best acting which overall will leave one with agreement that Brad's performance in this movie is one of his very best. Of course, not all is to be left praising brad pitt. *Spoiler starts here* Kevin Spacey is spectacular as the infamous "john Doe" who flawless emotions simply add weight under kevin spacey's title as "Oscar winning Actor." Nevertheless, Morgan freeman sides as more of a mentor throughout the movie regardless Morgan remains solid with credible chemistry as cop buddies with pitt.

Overall, the movie is wonderfully crafted with Fincher's Directing, The Script is wonderfully broken down with no need for memory maps and finally the acting is by-far mesmerizing.

Thanks for the read, hope you enjoyed it
