Movie Review by Christopher Thomas
August 29th, 2007

A Classic that cannot be touched

"History is written by the victors"...No matter how much of this movie is based on history or how much is it inspirational fable...it is offering a higher truth about the human experience. Since no one knows for sure what exactly happened, let us take this film in the importance it was meant to be take...a hopeful epic of one man inspiring a world.
I am not what can be said that has not been said in the countless award ceremonies, but what I think why it should be watched again and again is that the raw brutailty of man vs the raw hope of man. In this film, you can see how much lose there is in order to apperciate how rare and powerful a dream of freedom can be. Something we often forget about.
