It pales in comparison...
If you're an Adam Sandler fan, like I am, I think you'll like this flick for obvious reasons...it's got Adam Sandler in it and it's funny, but I do think that after seeing some of the newer Sandler flicks you wouldn't be too impressed with Billy Madison.
In my opinion, the reason I like Adam Sandler isn't as much for his humor as it is for the 'moral of the story' that he usually has in his films. In Billy Madison it seemed to just be all goofing off/childishness and fun stuff, with a lack of any serious tone or meaning to the movie.
I recommend this one to only the really big Sandler fans. It'll definately give you a laugh.

| Ya know... I'm still more of a Happy Gilmore fan than a Billy Madison fan. But I do enjoy them both. I like the penguin that he keeps seeing. |
