Freddy Gets Back to his Evil Self!!

Favorite Movie Quote: ""Hey Dillon! Ever Play Skin the Cat?""

During the whole Nightmare on Elm Street series Freddy Kruger got camper and more silly with each installment. Well thank god for Wes Craven for bringing Freddy back to evil and scary.

This is my fav Nightmare sequel of them all. Even though I do like the whole series, it was good to see Freddy get scary again. This time, he is after Heather Langenkamps (Nancy in the original and no. 3) son Dillon. As Heathers fear of Freddy grows, Freddy gets ever closer to Dillon.

While most fans complained about the whole film-within-a-film aspect of this movie, I though it was refreshing to see something original this far in the series. Robert England is brilliant (as ever) playing Freddy and he really does freak you out (especially the scene where he appears behind Dillon's babysitter Julie in the hospital).

Even though the body count is quite low for this type of film, this is still the best sequel in my opinion and stands up well next to the original.
