Movie Review by Terrence

On the Edge of Greatness

'Fearless' is one of those films that comes along and knocks you out with it's honesty and subtle restraint.

Traumatic events when they happen can cause different and varying affects on the people envolved. Damage and healing and hurt never seem to belong together as they do here in this film.

Jeff Bridges plays Max Klein a man who has just been in a plane crash. He undergoes a tremendous peronality change and comes to bond with some of his fellow survivors.

This bonding puts a strain on his relationship with his wife played by Isabella Rossellini and his son who can't understand whats going on with him.

In the hands of any other group of filmakers and actors this film would come across as soap opera like and conventional. But what you have here is one of a kind piece that can't be denied.

The film came out along side 'Schindlers List' and the excellent work done on this film became lost to the masses.

I myself am a big fan of this flick. Rosie was nominated in this. Um... yeah.
