The Beatrice and Benedick Show
One of the better Shakespeare film adaptations, with one lame factor...Mr. Keanu Reeves.
It has a biting crackling story about lovers in love and those coming in between. Micheal Keaton is great and as creepy as he was in Beetlejuice.
The heroes of this film are Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh, the chemistry between them as Beatrice and Benedick. You can see why they were once married in real life.
Robert Sean Leonard and Kate Beckinsale do their best with somewhat lame characters, and it is commendable.
Overall, one of Shakespeare's most light-hearted plays translates well as a gossipy and quite sexy film
