Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie
March 10th, 2007

Mac Is Crazy, Y'all

Do you remember how creeped out you were my Macaulay Culkin after this movie came out? We had just spent all these years getting to love him and then he makes this film about a boy who is the devil in disguise.

Elijah Wood plays Culkin's cousin whose mother has just died and he is left to be cared for by his aunt and uncle. Their family has lost a son who died in the bathtub. However as the film progresses we get to see just how devious Culkin's "good son" really is.

The film is actually quite scary, mostly because of the age of the actors, the sly power of Culkin's work and the wide-eyed fear of young Wood.

Surprisingly holds up over the years.
