Bizarre, description defying

I remember watching this movie based on the fact that I was a fan of Alex Winter in his role as Bill in the popular Bill and Ted series. This is NOT a fanciful Bill and Ted caper.

The movie is weird, strange, gross and defies description. Centered around a spoiled brat former child star who is trying to gain back some of his former fame, he and a friend of his wander too far off the beaten track at the beckoning of some signs about a freak show. Little do they know that by the end of the night they'll have become a part of that freak show.

If I were to explain that this movie is worth watching and yet wasn't all that great of a film, you'd probably shake your head at me and not understand what I was getting at. But there are some movies that you just have to see so that you can sock away their images and keep them for comparison in the future.

This is one of those movies. And if it convinces you any more, Brooke Shields appears as a mutated freak as well. Gotta love that.
