Movie Review by Megan

ahhhh if the 70s were only that good

There is something to be said about a movie that you can get a contact high from. This and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle are the only two that have managed to do it for me.

This movie is like any weekend night for any middle America (or Canada for that matter) high school student. It was all about hanging out, trying to score, maybe get drunk and high. If you were popular you ruled and if you weren't you tried to get as close to that inner circle as possible. It was all about bush parties and trying not to get busted by your folks.

The acting in this movie was okay...but that is all it had to be. It wasn't trying to make itself something it wasn't. And I bet the writer just opened his yearbook and wrote about the people he hung out with. Basically the John Hughes for the stoner set.

This is a great party movie, something to watch with all your friends...just remember to pass to the left and don't bogart.

The movie is rather timeless, regardless of it being set in the seventies, I think we all knew someone in high school like some of the characters in the movie.
