Movie Review by Terrence
June 1st, 2007

Not the tennis shoe movie

'Sneakers' stars Robert Redford as a former anti-government hippie type who also happens to be a security expert whose leads a team of techno geeks.

The group gets in over their head on their next assignment and thats when all the trouble starts.

I remember watching this movie hundreds of times within the first two years of it's release.

It's a decents movie that may feel dated at times with the techno stuff that also happens to be a sort of anti-Bush (Sr.) call to arms.

The cast of actors in this group is simply amazing. Besides the late River Phoenix you have Sidney Poitier, James Earl Jones, Ben Kingsley, Mary McDonnel, Dan Aykroyd and many others.

The film was directed by Phil Alden Robinson the director of 'Field of Dreams'. Robinson puts together a pretty good piece of work here.
