The sun is shining and it's 30 degrees, what better time is there for a Christmas movie?
I don't think it is possible for anyone not to like the Muppets, I mean c'mon we all grew up with sesame street and I'm sure everyone has their favorite Muppet. This movie was the first Muppet movie that the late great Jim Henson didn't direct instead we see the debut of his son Brian who does an equally great job.
The Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite incarnation of the classic Dickens tale and is absolutely irresistible to kids (of all ages) in classic Henson style we have all our favorite Muppets Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonoz etc. playing the Dickens characters as well as the added bonus of Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge.
This movie will surely bring Christmas cheer even in August...go on watch it you know you want to.
