Movie Review by Terrence

How much Potion does one guy need?

Before Sandra Bullock became famous by riding on a bus with Keenu Reeves and back when Tate Donovan looked like he might have had decent film career 'Love Potion Number 9' debuted as a comedy about a guy who recieves a magic potion that allows him to hook up with any woman he wants. Even some he doesn't want.

There are the usual random goings on like a scene where Tate Donovans characters spends a night going through a girls dormitory. Or the scene when another guy gets the formula and uses it on Sandra Bullock.

I wonder if anyone ever stopped to think that if you used a potion on someone to lower their inhibitions it's kinda like using a date rape drug isn't?

But such big questions aren't supposed by asked while watching a film like this. It's not that good a film but it has a few moments.

I like this one quite a bit. Especially how loopy it gets towards the end.
