What would you do?

Featuring one of the most amazing plane crash scenes that I've seen since, this movie is based on the real life story of a soccer team whose plane goes down in the mountains. While many of the players survive the crash, it is a struggle to survive the cold and the lack of food.

So they turn to cannabalism. The movie shows just how desperate the guys must have been, trapped with little hope of rescue and yet being human enough to possess the will to survive. I highly doubt that I wouldn't have done the same thing that they did, taking small chunks of flesh out of the dead members of the team so that they could continue to live.

Most of the actors in the film are unknown aside from a couple and it lends to the realistic nature of the movie. If there had been more names in it, the movie might not have made as much sense. We need to feel distanced from people in order to believe that they could be cannabals.
