No Fate but what we make for ourselves

Favorite Movie Quote: "John? John, it's getting late, I want to have dinner with you, I'm making beef stew."

Terminator 2 is one of the best sequels ever constructed. It was a long wait for a sequel to 1984's sci-fi/action masterpiece titled The Terminator. James Cameron took his time and once again delivered a wonderful film for all types of movie fans.

The special effects were ahead of its time almost as in the same fashion as the original Star Wars films. CGI was used along with real action stunts to compose the ultimate action film.

This was actually the first rated R film that my mother ever allowed me to watch, meaning that she actually took me to the theatre to see. In fact we went to the drive-in movie theatre to see this film. I had already seen the first Terminator and countless other R rated films before but she just didn't know that. I remember my cousin saw it before me and talked to me about it for hours which just made me want to see it that much more.

I then got the film on VHS and watched it over and over again as a teenager. To this day if the film is ever on I cant flip past the channel. Not too mention my friend Daris and I find Edward Furlong's ridiculous acting and puberty voice changing effects just funny as sh*t and constantly quote lines from John Conner to each other to try to get a good laugh.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was the ultimate killing machine BAD terminator in the first film but he is just as good as the good, comical terminator in this one. Also the very underrated actor being Robert Patrick plays the T-1000, a more sophisticated killing machine that's always a step above Schwarzenegger.

I also think its cool that Jenette Goldstein has a small role as John Connor's foster mother which was also in James Cameron's Aliens as Vasquez.

The T-1000 Effects in this flick were absolute dynamite.

Unfortunately, both EDWARD FURLONG and LINDA HAMILTON repeatedly undermined an excellent story with their terrible performances.

yeah I agree.... I can stand Hamilton...but her acting was rather whack... I think she couldnt find the balance...in the first Terminator she was suppose to be this helpless waitress...that had no idea how to be a bad ass.... then in this one her character was supposed to have developed into a badass...which she didnt carry out well.
