What's shakin' Shakes?

Favorite Movie Quote: "You din't see anything, It was just beef. White, powdery beef."

"The Citizen Kane of clown movies." That's how the movie is described on the box. I don't know if anyone else would agree with that statement. But I couldn't agree with it more!

This is the story of Shakes [Bobcat Goldthwait] an alcoholic clown who lives in Palookaville (which is some sort of alternate universe where clowns are the majority.) Shakes is framed for murdering his boss/father figure and must avoid being caught by the police while trying to find the real killers. He is helped along the way by his girlfriend Judy [Julie Brown] and a few of his clown buddies [Adam Sandler and Blake Clark] and a mime instructor [Robin Williams].

This is one of the driest comedies I have ever seen. If you don't like dry humor you will absolutely hate this movie. As for me, this is one of my all time favorite movies. be for everyone but I really enjoy it.

I think that everyone should see this movie. It is/should be a classic.

I've always liked this movie. Twisted and sick but also fun in a unique way.
