Movie Review by Lisa
March 22nd, 2007

I think every red-blooded female the world over has at some point watched this movie and oogled over either Patrick Swayze or Keanu Reeves, and if they haven't they should I highly recommend it. I first watched this in my teens and being very hormonally charged at the time I dreamed of a Patrick, Keanu sandwich, and cursed Lori Petty for the sex scenes with my future husband (.....that harlot).

Keanu plays Johnny Utah, a straight-laced FBI agent who has been assigned to track down a gang of bank robbers called the Ex-Presidents who they believe to be surfers. As Johnny is young and fresh faced he finds himself undercover posing as a surfer......Of course this wouldn't be a movie without a chick, which is where the delightful Lori Petty comes in as his surfing instructor. Our boy Johnny successfully infiltrates the gang and gets the girl and its looking' good....until his identity is discovered and his girls life is put in danger.

This is a great movie for obvious reasons ...great actors (Lori Petty rocks).....hot men ......and a wicked cameo by Anthony Keidis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers....This movie is the stuff dirty little teenage dreams are made of.

Usually people talk about how hot Keanu got for this (and he did) but I think Swayze did an awesome job in this role. It's my favorite bad guy character that he's done.
