A Quiet Masterpiece
Lawrence Kasdan as a writer and filmmaker reached his peak with this film.
Kevin Kline and Danny Glover give thoughtful performances as two strangers whose lives intersect and they begin to grow on one another. But the film doesn't really merely on there strong performances.
With some very good turns by Steve Martin, Mary McDonnell, and Alfre Woodard the film tackles race, class, and life.
In some ways I like this film more than "Crash" which was highly praised but always bothered me on some levels.
