STATION!

Those little alien dudes were just creepy. In fact, the whole vibe of Bill and Ted shifted in this sequel, from fun, outgoing dudes to death and creepiness. The scenes where they find their own personal hells and one of them is a psychotic Easter bunny chasing down a young Ted? Seriously, what the hell were the filmmakers smoking when they came up with that one?

The soundtrack is better this time around, including music by Primus. OK, so they also have a song on there by KISS, but everyone can't be perfect. I still adore Alex Winter and Keanu in these roles even if they are purposefully making fun of them at this point. I'm saddened that they decided to kill the characters and poke unnecessary fun at a couple of guys that had gained a lot of love from the public when no one assumed the first movie would do all that well.

This is definitely a weird sequel and it goes against the grain of buying into the leads and instead goes against them, making sure that they're killed not just on the screen in the story but also for any future interest in sequels. It's a shame, but sometimes you've just got to do it.
