Love & Violence Before NBK
If you watch David Lynch's Wild At Heart, you might realize how similar Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers really is.
Nicolas Cage & Laura Dern star as Sailor & Lula, two lovers on the run. Along the way they meet all sorts of oddball characters and unusually weird situations, typical of David Lynch
Highly recommended, although this may not appeal all mainstream audiences. But if you're trying to get into Lynch's films, let this be one of the first.
