Pretty Woman (1990)

Not a Fave, but a Classic
No this is not my favorite film of all time, I am not one of those girls who worships at the feet of all things Roberts.
Instead, I see it as a pretty funny rom-com with a cheesy ending.
The best part of this film is the comment on classism in upper class Beverly Hills society, when Vivian attempts to shop at a fancy boutique and the comment on sexism as mixed with classism, when Jason Alexander's character suddenly feels like he can hit on Vivian because she is a hooker.
Without Laura San Giacomo this would be a much less funnier movie, thank goodness for her.
All in all, a pre-tremendous fame Roberts in a risky role that pays off.
