Movie Review by Ryan Midnight
December 15th, 2007

Hard-Boiled Plot: The trophy-hunting alien returns to Earth, this time to the crime-riddled streets of Los Angeles during an unbearable heat wave. With his extended weapons arsenal, the Predator begins his systematic collection of skulls, and soon sets his eyes on what will be his prized hunt - an insubordinate cop that knows how to throw down!

The Essentials: Stan Winston's beloved alien hunter gets a lot more screen time, a lot more vicious toys, a lot more victims this time around, and an expanded personality, which alone puts this sequel on par with the original. Danny Glover makes for a formidable target, and a surprising bad-ass that can hold his ground when compared to his goofy LETHAL WEAPON personality, and fits right into the concrete jungle setting.

The Verdict? An underrated and worthy sequel that deserves to be known for more than just the origin of the connection between the ALIEN and PREDATOR worlds.
