Movie Review by B Movie Ben
August 18th, 2007

Look in your heart! Look in your heart!

The Coen brothers hit the jackpot again with this film. They are masters of crime flicks with a twist or two. You never know what is going to happen and the surprises just make you stay there til the end.

Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects) appears to be playing both sides against the middle to keep a gang war from breaking out. He's also sleeping with his boss' girlfriend, and part of his job is to kill her brother. Just the place I want to be.

The girlfriend is Marcia Gay Harden (Pollack, Mystic River, American Gun) and she turns in a super performance as one who, in the words of her brother (John Turturro), will "...sleep with anyone..." With Albert Finney, Steve Buscemi, and Michael Jeter, this is a sure bet.
